When one comes to know the God of all this vast creation – the God whose power is responsible for its being and for its continuation – there is a natural response to want to joyfully tell others of Him. The thought of His creative power is overwhelming enough in itself, prompting poets and believers alike to try and tell of His mighty strength. But there is another thought that is even more astounding and worth telling others about.

This God who is behind the existence of the universe cares about even the least part of that creation! He knows and cares when a single bird falls to the earth from its appointed function of brightening and cheering what is often a drab, dreary world. He knows and cares about lowly lilies growing in a field whose solitary purpose for being seems only to be to bring beauty to His creation. He even knows and cares about us in ways we ourselves care little about, even to the number of hairs on each human’s head! If God cares so much about things we couldn’t care less about, why is it that some apparently believe that He doesn’t care about them? Jesus said that the heavenly Father cares and provides for us even more than for lilies in the meadow and for meadowlarks!

And this love of God for us can be counted on to be there tomorrow – and for as many tomorrows as there may be to come. His love is steadfast – it is unfailing. We can rely on it. So sing it out! Shout it out! Tell it to the world! God loves His creation down to the least of it – even to you and me!
